DataGlyphics Plugs into Florida’s Teens
9/11/2003

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – DataGlyphics Inc., a St. Petersburg-based Web development firm, and Florida Trend's NEXT magazine, an annual publication distributed directly to public and private schools free of charge to nearly 750,000 high school students, today announced the full redesign and re-launch of the magazine's Web site – www.FloridaNEXT.com. The new site features a lively layout and design, fresh new content, Spanish translations of the magazine articles and interactive games and contests.

Lynda Keever, Publisher of Florida Trend and Florida Trend's NEXT said, "When we asked teens what they thought about Florida Trend's NEXT and FloridaNEXT.com, they said, 'It rules,' 'Perfect mix of school stuff plus teen stuff,' and 'It's the greatest Web site for students.' With comments like these we knew they realized that the site was designed especially for them."

FloridaNEXT.com's new look reflects the print publication's current image and offers content to help Florida's teenagers excel in high school and make it into a university, community college or technical school as well as the workforce. New games and contests include a trivia game, the Car Name-O-Matic, a monthly drawing for prizes, and a chance to win a $1,000 Best Buy® gift card.

William H. Stover, Jr., CEO of DataGlyphics, said, "This was a really fun project. With the audience consisting of Florida teens, we worked closely with Florida Trend's NEXT to create a site that was engaging and informative. The result: a Web resource that's fun to explore and offers important information about higher education, finances and social issues. We've gotten great feedback about the new site, and we are pleased that Florida Trend's NEXT selected DataGlyphics for a fourth year to bring their Web site ideas to life."
