DataGlyphics Hires New Director of Sales and Marketing

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – DataGlyphics Inc. today announced the appointment of David Sieg as director of sales and marketing. In this position, Sieg is responsible for developing new market opportunities for DataGlyphics’ Internet application solutions by providing integrated sales, marketing and public relations services.
“We’ve been fortunate. While many of our direct competitors suffered through much of last year, DataGlyphics fared quite well. And I finally feel the business tide in the Tampa Bay area is turning for the better,” said William Stover, CEO of DataGlyphics. “That’s why we’re excited to add David to our team. He brings a tremendous amount of high-tech marketing experience, and we look to him to provide the sales and marketing expertise that will help DataGlyphics emerge as the area’s leading provider of Internet solutions.”
Prior to joining DataGlyphics, Sieg held various corporate marketing positions with prominent Tampa Bay area technology companies. Most recently he served as president of Graffito Communications, a technology-oriented marketing and public relations firm in Clearwater, Fla. Sieg also served as the director of marketing communications for PowerCerv Corp. in Tampa, Fla., and public relations specialist for Cheetah Technologies (now Acterna) in Sarasota. He earned his bachelor’s degree in public relations from the University of Florida.
