DataGlyphics Completes Expansion
9/17/2001

St. Petersburg-based Web development firm, DataGlyphics, has bucked the trend of tech company lay-off and shutdowns. Due to client growth and technology needs, DataGlyphics has expanded both its technical infrastructure and its physical space.

"We have added thirty percent more office space and expanded our Network Operation Center by 130%. To keep up with our clients’ need for bandwidth, we doubled our network capacity with Tier I providers Global Crossing and Genuity (formerly GTE Internetworking)," commented Hutch Craig, CTO of DataGlyphics.

"In a time where business models are being reevaluated and many in our industry are closing their doors, we have been able to expand our services and clients while sticking to the same beliefs and business ideals as when we began in 1998. And we have done so while continuing to remain debt-free and internally owned and operated," said Bill Stover, CEO of DataGlyphics. "Because our development methodology helps our clients decrease internal costs, streamline their office procedures, improve customer service, and globalize their sales of goods and services, our growth has actually increased during this economic slowdown. Our clients are finding the Web more cost effective and easier to manage than traditional growth. They realize their Web sites are an investment, and not an expense. And most importantly, they are seeing results."
