Nokia Selects DataGlyphics to Develop Second Latin American Web Site
11/13/2000
DataGlyphics Inc. was chosen to develop a second Web site for the Latin American division of Nokia Mobile Phones, the largest wireless phone supplier in the world.
DataGlyphics recently completed Nokia Latin America's extranet, and has now begun work on a consumer site for the division. Both sites are in English and Spanish, but the new consumer site is planned as a multilingual site, capable of handling multiple Spanish dialects, as well as English.
The consumer site will provide support for Latin American customers of Nokia phones, as well as offer them added value benefits, including secure ordering of Nokia products and downloadable ringtunes through multiple agreements with SMS providers in Latin America.
"We are obviously pleased that Nokia has chosen us for another major [web] development," said Bill Stover, DataGlyphics President and CEO, "and we are honored that a company of Nokia's caliber recognizes our abilities and relies on us for such critical web applications."
