DataGlyphics Adds Secondary Fiber Provider to NOC

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – DataGlyphics Inc., a St. Petersburg-based Web development firm, today announced the addition of Time Warner Telecom (Nasdaq: TWTC) as provider of fiber services for hosting clients located within the DataGlyphics Network Operation Center (NOC).
Time Warner Telecom will provide DataGlyphics with an OC48 connection terminating within the NOC of their headquarters office located at the SunTrust building in downtown St. Petersburg, Florida. The addition of this fiber provider will allow DataGlyphics to further their Tier-1 managed services and hosting by running BGP across two completely separate fiber networks.
"Our current OC3 fiber connection provided through BHN along with our backup analog connection through Verizon Communications has been able to allow our client traffic to grow without interruption or possible throttling due to bandwidth limits," said William H. Stover Jr., CEO of DataGlyphics. "However, the addition of an OC48 fiber connection through Time Warner Telecom will exponentially increase our bandwidth potential while providing an increased level of redundancy. By running BGP we will help ensure our client up-time and improve the efficiency at which each packet of information is delivered to our clients."
The build out of the new network will be completed in the fourth quarter of 2005 and will be immediately implemented for all DataGlyphics colocated and shared hosting clients.
